Croatia’s Atlantska sells ship for $37.6 mln

November 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] said it has signed a deal to sell a ship under construction for $37.6 million (35 million euro).

The deal to sell the ship, H/82 – 278, was signed on Friday, Atlantska said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse. It did not disclose the name of the buyer and further details about the vessel.

Atlantska’s shares traded 2.36% higher at 52 euro on Monday by 10:22 local time on the Zagreb bourse.

On Friday, the stock exchange placed Atlantska’s shares under monitoring following an announcement that its peer Tankerska Plovidba will launch a takeover bid for the 60.9% interest it does not already own in Atlantska Plovidba.
