November 8 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL-R-A] has acquired the Pelagos cargo ship for $11.95 million (10.5 million euro), the company said on Thursday.
The Panamax-class vessel's name will be changed to AP Libertas, Atlantska Plovidba said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

The bulk carrier has 75,213 tonnes of deadweight and was built in 2008 at the Hudong Zhonghua shipyards in China.
The vessel was under the technical and commercial management of Atlantska Plovidba before the transaction, the Croatian shipping company added.
Atlantska Plovidba employed 247 people and operated a fleet of 12 vessels with an average age of 8.28 years and combined 750,520 DWT at the end of September.
