The ship has been renamed Serenity, Alpha Adriatic said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse on Monday, without disclosing financial details about the deal.
The ship was built in 2016 at Croatian shipyard Uljanik Brodogradiliste.
Simultaneously, Alpha Adriatic has entered into an agreement with the new shipowner for the technical and crew management of the vessel. This move expands Alpha Adriatic's client base and strengthens its network of external users for its ship management services, in line with the strategic development direction of the company, Alpha Adriatic added.
Alpha Adriatic owns a 50% stake in the Marshall Islands-registered Alpha DCM Investments LLC.
Alpha Adriatic's shares traded intraday on Tuesday on the Zagreb bourse at 17.70 euro ($19.23), down 1.67%.
