May 16 (SeeNews) - Croatian pharmaceuticals manufacturer Adrialab, a unit of pharmaceuticals producer Jadran Galenski Laboratorij (JGL), said it has completed a 700,000 euro ($760,000) project aimed at increasing its production capacity for non-sterile solutions sixfold.

The investment included purchase of new production equipment and complete reconstruction and revitalisation of a separate 120,000 sqare metres production hall, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.

“We expect a return on investment after five years, or earlier if taking into account new projects that we are able to carry out in the enlarged facility,” CEO Vice Buljanovic said.

The new line will produce syrups and solutions, with a full capacity of two million units annually.

Adrialab specialises in production of semi-solid forms and non-sterile solutions in the field of cosmetics, food supplements and medicinal products.
