The ship is 225 metres long and 23.8 metres wide, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse without elaborating.

State TV broadcaster reported on Sunday that the ship, named Algoma Endevour, it the longest ever vessel launched at the shipyard and it will sail in Canada’s Great Lakes. The Rijeka-based shipyard plans to finish its construction by mid-June. It added.

According to earlier media reports, the ship was part of the assets of bankrupt shipyard Uljanik.

3. Maj's shares last traded on the Zagreb bourse on August 23, 2022 when they closed flat at 14.90 kuna ($2.13/1.98 euro).
