November 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian share indices closed higher in decreased turnover on Tuesday, bourse data indicated.

Croatian stock indices rise

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE), added 1.26% to 1,768.22 points after rising 0.12% on Monday.

The narrower blue-chip index, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, rose 1.65% to 991.96 points.

The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, closed 0.90% higher in euro terms at 943.37.

Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] posted the highest turnover of 1.9 million kuna ($326,000/252,000 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock led the CROBEX gainers, adding 3.35% to 212.90 kuna.

Port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:LKPC-R-A] paced the blue-chip decliners, falling 1.17% to 583.09 kuna.

The bourse's total turnover in floor trading fell to 9.7 million kuna from 11.3 million kuna on Monday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.24% lower at 102.9018 points.

The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and also includes accrued interest or interest payments, edged down 0.22% to 120.1752 points.
