Croatian Stock Indices Mostly Fall in Higher Turnover

October 27 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) mostly fell on Tuesday in higher turnover, bourse data showed.

Croatian Stock Indices Mostly Fall in Higher Turnover

The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index slightly rose 0.35% at 2,172.38 points after falling 3.05% on Monday.

The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 0.13% down at 1,138.42 on Tuesday.

The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 3.06% in euro terms to 1,332.30 points.

Shares of HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, rose 0.25% to 272 kuna ($56.2/37.6 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 8.2 million kuna.

ZSE's total turnover in floor trading rose to 39.3 million kuna from 35.6 million kuna on Monday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.02% at 90.32 points.
