November 21 (SeeNews) - Croatian share indices rose further in increased turnover on Wednesday, bourse data indicated.

Croatian stock indices extend gains

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) added 0.40% to 1,759.83 points after rising 0.13% on Tuesday.

The narrower blue-chip index, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, rose 0.37% to 993.95 points.

The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, closed 0.67% higher in euro terms at 903.19.

Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] posted the highest turnover of some 2.3 million kuna ($389,800/304,400 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock lost 0.2% to 205.64 kuna.

Fertiliser maker Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, rising 8.29% to 209 kuna.

Power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] paced the CROBEX decliners, falling 3.15% to 76.5 euro.

The bourse's total turnover in floor trading rose to 19.1 million kuna from 11.9 million kuna on Tuesday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.40% lower at 102.7615 points.

The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and also includes accrued interest or interest payments, lost 0.35% to 120.3080 points.
