Croatian stock indices end lower

December 24 (SeeNews) - Croatian share indices closed down on Monday as turnover sank, bourse data indicated.

Croatian stock indices end lower

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ticked down 0.14% to 1,726.54 points after falling 0.01% on Friday.

The narrower blue-chip index, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, lost 0.33% to 969.40 points.

The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, lost 0.54% in euro terms to 918.41 points.

Food producer Belje [ZSE:BLJE-R-A] posted the highest turnover of some 358,600 kuna ($62,900/47,520 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock added 3.83% to 70 kuna.

Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, rising 6.41% to 280 kuna.

Power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, falling 2.37% to 66.78 kuna.

The bourse's total turnover in floor trading dropped to 3.1 million kuna from 18.4 million kuna on Friday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.02% to 103.4692 points.

The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and includes accrued interest or interest payments, rose 0.06% to 121.738 points.

The bourse will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for the Christmas holidays.
