The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) lost 0.24% to 1,759.19 points after falling by same margin on Monday.
The narrower blue-chip index, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, fell 0.07% to 996.82 points.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, closed down 0.37% in euro terms at 905.11.
The preferred shares of tobacco-to-tourism conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-P-A] posted the highest turnover of some 2.4 million kuna ($410,800/317,700 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock added 0.23% to 246 kuna. The company’s ordinary shares were not traded on Tuesday.
Oil and gas company INA [ZSE:INA-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, rising 1.15% to 4,399.95 kuna.
Power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] paced the CROBEX decliners, falling 4.46% to 70.51 euro.
The bourse's total turnover in floor trading rose to 17.6 million kuna from 9.5 million kuna on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.08% lower at 102.7578 points.
The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and also includes accrued interest or interest payments, lost 0.07% to 120.3710 points.
