Croatian Share Indices Sink Further in Low Liquidity on Dull Market

November 7 (SeeNews) - The equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Friday for a third day running, as liquidity dwindled on a lethargic market, an analyst said.

Croatian Share Indices Sink Further in Low Liquidity on Dull Market

The bourse's benchmark CROBEX index ended the trading session at 2,190.72, a slight decline of 0.28%, said an analyst with brokerage Ilirika who described the trading day as lethargic.

Turnover in floor trading fell to 36.4 million kuna ($6.5 million/5.1 million euro) from 53.8 million a day earlier.

On Friday, the CROEMI 20-share index, calculated by Raiffeisenbank Austria, dipped 0.26% to 1,965.02.

The narrowest index, CROX, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the Zagreb market and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, lost 1.09% in euro terms to 1,333.27 points.

Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba rebounded, rising 3.13% to 890 kuna on the day’s largest turnover of 9.8 million kuna.

Telecommunications company T-HT, an index heavyweight, fell 0.66% to 228.49 kuna on 4.8 million kuna of turnover.

Power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod also rebounded, by 1.5% to 540 kuna, on 4.0 million kuna of turnover.

The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.02% to 90.63 points.
