Croatian Share Indices Rise in Slightly Higher Turnover

November 12 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose in slightly higher turnover on Thursday, bourse data showed.

Croatian Share Indices Rise in Slightly Higher Turnover

The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index closed 0.72% higher at 2,109.71 points after rising 0.72% on Wednesday.

The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 1.14% to 1,095.62 points.

The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, added 0.91% in euro terms to 1,284.91 points.

The shares of shipping company Atlantska Plovidba closed up 5.76% at 1,082.99 kuna ($222/148 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 6.8 million kuna.

Shares of HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, closed up 0.83% at 270 kuna, ranking second with a turnover of some 3.8 million kuna.

ZSE's total turnover in floor trading rose fractionally to 27.8 million kuna from 27.5 million kuna on Wednesday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.1% higher at 93.35 points.
