Croatian share indices rebound on gains in Hrvatski Telekom

March 1 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange gained ground on Friday backed by gains in Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], bourse data showed.

The 20-share benchmark CROBEX rose 1.21% to close at 2,760.46 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.67% to 1,653.62 points.

In regular turnover, Hrvatski Telekom was the most traded company with a turnover of 708,600 euro ($767,000). Its shares appreciated 1.08% to 28.10 euro.

Second by turnover was lender Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA) [ZSE:ZABA] with a turnover of 325,400 euro. Its shares ended flat at 17 euro.

Ordinary shares of power transformer manufacturer Koncar D&ST [ZSE: KODT], which are not part of the main share indices, soared 3.17% to 1,300 euro in a turnover of 190,400 euro.

The total turnover reached 3.7 million euro from 2.3 million euro on Thursday. It was boosted by an 1.4 million euro block trading with shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] and a 333,500 euro block trading with shares of hotel owner Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG].
