October 7 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined in slightly higher turnover on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index went down 0.35% to 2,197.45 points after rising 1.74% on Tuesday.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 0.10% in euro terms to 1,339.81 points.
The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 0.15% down at 1,161.96 on Wednesday.
The shares of HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, edged up 0.16% to 260.52 kuna ($52.7/35.9 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 3.76 million kuna.
ZSE's total turnover in floor trading edged up to 20.48 million kuna from 19.9 million kuna on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index inched down 0.29% to 88.94 points.
