Croatian share indices end higher, ZABA in spotlight

May 16 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange extended their gains on Thursday, despite a drop of the total bourse turnover to 853,700 euro ($928,200) from 1.1 million euro a day earlier.

The 21-share benchmark, the CROBEX, added 0.22% to close at 2,822.34 points, extending its winning streak for a fourth day.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.06% to 1,705.85 points.

Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA) [ZSE:ZABA] generated the largest daily turnover, 171,000 euro, as its stock appreciated 1.44% to close at 17.60 euro. ZABA is part of the wider equity index.
