August 19 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) were fractionally lower on Wednesday as turnover rose, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index edged down 0.18% to 1,893.51 points after rising 0.66% on Tuesday.
The 20-share CROEMI index, calculated by Raiffeisenbank Austria, lost 0.29% to 1,693.26 points.
The narrowest share index, CROX, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 0.26% in euro terms to 1,156.99 points.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba posted the session's highest turnover of 2.4 million kuna ($462,500/327,600 euro). The company's shares closed down 0.72% at 1,099 kuna.
Blue chip T-Hrvatski Telekom, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, posted the day's second largest turnover of some 2.0 million kuna. Shares ended 0.45% lower at 225.97 kuna.
Total turnover in floor trading rose to 17.9 million kuna from 11.5 million kuna on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.08% to 86.54 points.
