The 20-share benchmark CROBEX ended 0.08% lower at 2,760.77 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went down 0.04% to close at 1,640.65 points.
In regular turnover, index heavyweight Podravka generated the biggest daily turnover, of almost 220,000 ($241,000), as its shares rebounded 1.0% to close at 152 euro.
Hotel owner Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG] shed 1.52% to 390 euro in a turnover of 210,000 euro. It is part of the wider index.
Ordinary shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS] fell 1.25% to 79 euro in a turnover of some 100,000 euro. They are not included in the share indices.
Blue-chip shares of Koncar Elektroindustrija fell 0.81% to 246 euro in a turnover of 99,200 euro.
The regular turnover fell to 1.4 million euro from 1.7 million euro on Thursday.
A total of 64,000 shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] changed hands at a price of 4.87 euro apiece in a 312,000 euro block trading.
