September 2 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) dropped while turnover tripled on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index fell 0.96% to 1,996.03 points after rising 0.32% on Tuesday. The 20-share CROEMI index, calculated by Raiffeisenbank Austria, fell to 1,788.41 points after closing at 1,802.44 in the previous session.
The narrowest index, CROX, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 0.68% in euro terms to 1,197.30 points.
The shares of the blue-chip tobacco and tourism company Adris Grupa d.d. fell 3.45% to 280 kuna ($54.2/38.1 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 3.5 million kuna.
Total turnover in floor trading rose to 69.8 million kuna from 22.1 million kuna on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index fell by 0.43% to 86.39 points.
