October 21 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) continued to give up ground on Wednesday in slightly higher turnover, bourse data showed.
The 24-share benchmark CROBEX index lost 1.22% to 2,237.58 points after falling 0.37% on Tuesday.
The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 1.26% lower at 1,169.45 on Wednesday.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, fell 1.03% in euro terms to 1,371.59 points.
Shares of HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, fell 0.48% to 271.61 kuna ($56.3/37.6 euro) in the day's highest turnover of some 6.06 million kuna.
ZSE's total turnover in floor trading rose slightly to 30.5 million kuna from 29.1 million kuna on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed up 0.09% at 90.36 points.
