Croatian share indices close higher

September 7 (SeeNews) - Croatian share indices ended in the green in lower turnover on Friday, bourse data indicated.

Croatian share indices close higher

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index added 0.82% to 1,684.64 points after rising 0.28% on Thursday.

The narrower blue-chip index, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE), rose 0.85% to 920.01 points.

The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, closed 0.05% lower in euro terms at 894.51.

Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] posted the highest turnover among the blue chips of 2.8 million kuna ($478,400/377,400 euro). The stock closed 0.51% higher at 199 kuna.

Power transmission equipment producer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 2.93% to 118.13 kuna.

Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, rising 4.37% to 68.5 kuna.

The bourse's total stock turnover in floor trading fell to 18.5 million kuna from 22.6 million kuna on Thursday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.28% to 97.8669 points.

The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and also includes accrued interest or interest payments, rose 0.30% to 113.3776 points.
