October 27 (SeeNews) - Croatian oil pipeline operator Jadranski Naftovod (Janaf) [ZSE:JNAF-R-A] said on Friday its consolidated net profit increased 5.3% on the year to 193.7 million kuna ($29.9 million/25.8 million euro) in the nine months through September.
The company's total revenues edged down 0.96% on the year to 529.1 million kuna in the nine-month period, while total costs dropped 3.8% to 293.0 million kuna, it said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse.
Non-consolidated revenues from the company's core business - oil transportation and storage of oil and oil products - totalled 519.3 million kuna, 3.5% above plan.
Janaf generated 352.3 million kuna in revenues from its core business on foreign markets, or 67.8% of the total, 2.8% higher than planned.
The company invested 376.8 kuna in long-term tangible and intangible assets in January-September, an increase of 60.1% compared to last year.
Janaf has terminals on the island of Krk, as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski Brod and Zitnjak, and operates 622 kilometres of pipelines. It has 1.54 million cu m of storage capacity for oil and 202,000 cu m of capacity for the storage of petroleum products.
