Non-life premiums increased by 14.48% on the year in the 10 months through October 2023, reaching 1.186 billion euro, Croatia's financial regulator, Hanfa, said in a monthly data release.

Life premiums declined to 243.8 million euro in the review period from 313.5 million euro last year.

There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people at the end of October.

As of the beginning of 2023, Hanfa started publishing figures on premiums paid instead of gross written premiums (GWP).
