Non-life premiums increased by 13.39%, reaching 238.3 million euro in the January-February period, Croatia's financial regulator, Hanfa, said in a monthly data release.

Life premiums rose 1.27% on the year to 48.7 million euro.

There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people at the end of February.

As of the beginning of 2023, Hanfa started publishing figures on premiums paid instead of gross written premiums (GWP).
