Croatian insurers GWP up 7.52% y/y in Jan-July

August 29 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWP) of Croatia-based insurers rose 7.52% on the year in the first seven months of 2022, reaching 7.949 billion kuna ($1.059 billion/1.058 billion euro), data of the Croatian Insurance Bureau showed on Monday.

Non-life premiums increased by 10.38% on the year to 6.178 billion kuna in the January-July period, the Insurance Bureau, an association of Croatia-based insurers, said in a monthly report.

Life premiums dipped 1.41% year-on-year to 1.771 billion kuna in the review period.

There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people last month.
