ZAGREB (Croatia), November 19 (SeeNews) – Croatian oil and gas company INA said on Thursday the government has nominated Finance Minister Ivan Suker for chairman of its Supervisory Board.
Hungarian oil and gas group MOL owns 47.15% of INA while the government in Zagreb holds a stake of some 44%.
The Croatian government has proposed to INA shareholders to seat Ivan Suker and Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Pankretic on the company's Supervisory Board, replacing former economy minister Damir Polancec and Vesna Orlandini, INA said in a statement to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
Polancec quit as economy minister in October, following calls from the opposition and the media that he step down in the wake of a series of corruption scandals.
