March 19 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Tuesday as gains in hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] and electrical concern Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] offset losses in food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR], bourse data showed.
Total regular turnover dropped to 1.0 million euro ($1.1 million) from 2.5 million euro a day earlier.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX rose 0.86% to finish at 2,797.35 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.93% to close at 1,693.40 points.
Valamar Riviera was the most traded company with a turnover of 267,000 euro, as its shares surged 3.20% to 5.16 euro.
Shares of Koncar Elektroindustrija appreciated 2.31% to close at 262 euro in a turnover of 61,200 euro. The company said on Tuesday that its unit Koncar - Digital has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in software company Adnet.
In a lower turnover, Podravka fell 0.93% to 159.50 euro.
Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] was the biggest daily gainer. Its share price soared 5.41% to 234 euro but only 119 of its shares changed hands.
