April 15 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Monday ended mixed, as investors focused on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) rather than on Croatian blue chips, bourse data showed.
The regular turnover reached 1.94 million euro ($2.1 million) from just 758,000 euro on Friday.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX added 0.06% to close at 2,831.55 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.24% to 1,704.04 points.
Exchange-traded fund InterCapital BET-TR [ZSE:7BET], which is tracking Romanian stocks, generated the largest daily turnover of 420,000 euro. Its units fell 0.86% to 13.83 euro
InterCapital SBITOP TR UCITS [ZSE:7SLO], an ETFs tracking Slovenian stocks, followed with a turnover of 402,000 euro. Its units shed 1.05% to 26.33 euro. Both ETFs are not part of the main Croatian indices.
Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] was the most traded company with a turnover of 318,000 euro. Its shares, which are constituent of the wider index CROBEX, appreciated 0.27% to 18.40 euro.
