The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 6.8% on the year reaching 4,898 in January, while cargo volumes increased 19.2% to 781 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Zagreb airport served the largest number of passengers in January – 247,000, up by an annual 12.5% - followed by the airport in Split with 29,000 passengers and the airport in Dubrovnik with 15,000 passengers.
Last year, Croatia's airports handled 11.272 million passengers, up 15% compared to 2022, the same office has said earlier.
