Croatian airports passenger traffic up 6.3% y/y in March

May 9 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports increased to 397,000 in March, up from 347,000 in the same month of 2023, official statistics showed on Thursday.

The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 1.0% on the year reaching 5,659 in March, while cargo volumes increased 30.8% to 1,057 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

Zagreb airport served the largest number of passengers in March – 299,000, up by an annual 13.9% - followed by the airport in Split with 48,000 passengers and the airport in Dubrovnik with 43,000 passengers.

Last year, Croatia's airports handled 11.272 million passengers, up 15% compared to 2022, the same office has said earlier.
