Croatian airports passenger traffic up 27% y/y in April

June 10 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports increased to 907,000 in April, up from 714,000 in the same month of 2023, official statistics showed on Monday.

The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 19.3% on the year reaching 10,304 in April, while cargo volumes increased 14.8% to 799 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

Zagreb airport served the largest number of passengers in April – 367,000, up by an annual 14.6% - followed by the airport in Dubrovnik with 224,000 passengers, and the airport in Split with 185,000 passengers.

Last year, Croatia's airports handled 11.272 million passengers, up 15% compared to 2022, the same office has said earlier.
