Croatian airports passenger traffic up 14% y/y in Feb

April 10 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at Croatia's airports increased to 293,000 in February, up from 256,000 in the same month of 2023, official statistics showed on Wednesday.

The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 9.60% on the year reaching 4,580 in February, while cargo volumes increased 6.20% to 722 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

Zagreb airport served the largest number of passengers in February – 243,000, up by an annual 17.4% - followed by the airport in Split with 29,000 passengers and the airport in Dubrovnik with 18,000 passengers.

Last year, Croatia's airports handled 11.272 million passengers, up 15% compared to 2022, the same office has said earlier.
