The total number of landings and take-offs at Croatian airports rose 13% on the year, reaching 18,437 in August, while cargo volumes increased by 2.5% on the year to 788 tonnes, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Split airport served the largest number of passengers in August – 623,118 up by an annual 26.8% - followed by the airport in Dubrovnik with 427,986 passengers and Zagreb airport with 346,317 passengers.
