February 24 (SeeNews) - Croatia's top lender Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA], part of Italy's UniCredit Group, on Friday proposed to its shareholders to distribute a dividend of 0.74 euro per ordinary share from its net profit reported for 2022, as well as a dividend of 0.95 euro per share from its retained profit.
Regarding the dividend from the net profit for 2022, record day is April 13, ex-dividend day is April 12, and payment date is May 8, the bank said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
For the dividend from the retained profit, record day is April 13, ex-dividend day is April 12, and payment date is October 16.
The shareholders will vote on the proposal on April 5.
Last year, Zagrebacka Banka paid out a dividend of 6.27 kuna ($0.88/0.83 euro) per share from its 2021 net profit, according to bourse data published earlier.
On Wednesday, Zagrebacka Banka said its consolidated after-tax profit rose 24.8% on the year in 2022, reaching 1.871 billion kuna.
Zagrebacka Banka's shares traded 12.98% higher at 11.75 euro on the Zagreb bourse intraday on Friday.
