The EU grant will cover 85% of the total cost of the project of 190 million kuna, the economy ministry said in a press release.
The project, to be implemented under the EU's Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014 - 2020, also envisages training of civil protection forces to act in cases of emergencies, major accidents and disasters.
