December 19 (SeeNews) - Insurer Croatia Osiguranje said on Wednesday it intends to place a takeover bid for local reinsurer Croatia Lloyd.

Croatia Osiguranje intends to place takeover bid for Croatia Lloyd

Croatia Osiguranje currently holds 137,299 Croatia Lloyd shares, equal to a 94.64% stake, a bourse filing indicated.

The public bid will be published within the law-prescribed timeframe.

Croatia Lloyd's capital is divided into 145,076 shares, each with nominal value of 800 kuna ($141/106 euro).

(1 euro = 7.5348 Croatian kuna)
