October 2 (SeeNews) - Croatia's maize crop was estimated at 1.3 million tonnes as of September 1, 25% down from last year, the statistical office said on Tuesday.

The sugar beet crop was estimated at 960,000 tonnes as of September 1, down 18%, while the sunflower harvest was seen at 82,000 tonnes, a decrease of 4%, the statistical office said in a statement.

Croatia's soybeans crop was estimated at 110,000 tonnes, a fall of 25%, as compared to the previous year.
