Compared to the previous quarter, Romania registered the highest growth in gross domestic product (GDP) among EU states in SEE in July-September, at 0.9%, Eurostat said in a quarterly report, citing seasonally adjusted data.
Elsewhere in SEE, Slovenia was the only country to record a quarterly GDP decline, of 0.2%.
Slovenia also posted the lowest annual GDP growth in the region in the third quarter of this year, at 1.6%.
In the EU overall, GDP remained unchanged both in annual and quarterly terms.
