The largest positive contribution to the GDP volume change in the second quarter of 2017 came from higher exports of goods which expanded 5.4% on the year, following a 14.9% growth in the previous quarter, the statistical office said in a statement.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, Croatia's economy expanded by 3.4% year-on-year and by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter, following an equal yearly growth rate and a 0.6% monthly increase in the first quarter of 2017.

At current prices, Croatia's national output stood at 88.7 billion kuna ($14.25 billion/11.96 billion euro) in April-June, up from 80.1 billion kuna in January-March 2017 and higher than 85.5 billion kuna in the second quarter last year.
