Croatia c-bank's FX reserves up 5.8% m/m in March

April 17 (SeeNews) - The foreign exchange (FX) reserves held by Croatia's central bank amounted to 1.313 billion euro ($ 1.395 billion) at the end of March, up from 1.241 billion euro a month earlier, it said.

At the end of March, the forex reserves were lower than they had been a year earlier, when they totalled 1.714 billion euro, the central bank said in a data release on Monday.

The total reserve assets of Croatia's central bank rose to 2.716 billion euro at the end of March from 2.664 billion euro a month earlier, but declined compared to the end of March 2023, when they totalled 3.128 billion euro.

Croatia had no gold reserves at the end of March.

Its special drawing rights (SDRs) totalled 1.214 billion euro in March, down from 1.216 billion in February and lower than 1.228 billion euro in March 2023.

Croatia's reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was 0.5 million euro unchanged on a monthly and annual comparison basis.
