The concessionaire will pay a one-off fee of 117,000 kuna ($17,500/15,800 euro) 60 days after the signing of the contract, the government said in a statement.

Aquae Vivae will also pay an annual concession charge that will be determined at the end of each year by public water utility company Hrvatske Vode.

The company intends to provide health, balneotherapy, sports and recreational tourism services at its Aquae Vivae hotel complex in the Krapinske Toplice village, in northern Croatia. Aquae Vivae will have the right to exploit the Pucka Kupelj source on an area of 7,057 square metres in the Krapinske Toplice area.

Based on the government's decision, the ministry of environment and energy ministry will promptly sign a concession contact with Aquae Vivae.
