"We can not announce prices without the producer’s consent," Croatia Airlines' public relations officer Davor Janusic told SeeNews.

The new A319s will join the eight A320 aircraft already in operation by the Croatian flag carrier, the company said in a statement.

The new airplanes should be delivered in 2012 and 2013.

The A319 aircraft can carry 132 passengers in a two-class configuration. It is part of the A320 family, which includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321 models.
