April 25 (SeeNews) - The Bucharest Court of Appeal has approved Carrefour Romania's request regarding the closure of its insolvency proceedings, data from the court's website showed.

Court approves closure of Carrefour Romania insolvency proceedings

The Court of Appeal on Thursday overturned an earlier ruling by a Bucharest court which declared the retailer insolvent in December following a request filed by local company GSL Logistic.

The ruling is final, according to the court's website.

Carrefour Romania, the Romanian unit of French retailer Carrefour, operates 25 hypermarkets, 79 supermarkets, 65 Carrefour Express convenience stores and an online store (www.carrefour-online.ro).
