Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose meets 11-mo sales target

December 21 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:ROZA] said on Wednesday that its sales revenue came in at 4.52 million levs ($2.45 million/2.31 million euro) for the first eleven months of 2022, in line with its forecast.

Preliminary profit for the January-November period amounted to 358,000 levs, the company said in a bourse filing.

The company’s preliminary profit reached 19,000 levs last month, while sales amounted to 329,000 levs, according to the latest statement.

December sales are projected at 406,000 levs, which would take sales for the full 2022 to 4.92 million levs.

Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. The company is part of local blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].

Shares in the company last traded at 1.70 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
