Cosmetics maker Bulgarian Rose f'casts sharp drop in 2020 sales

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 18 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:4BH] said on Friday that it expects its sales in 2020 to amount to some 3.05 million levs ($1.9 million/1.6 million euro).

Bulgarian Rose generated sales of 6.30 million levs in 2019, according to previously reported data.

The company booked sales of 2.88 million levs and a preliminary loss of 82,000 levs in the first eleven months of 2020, Bulgarian Rose said in a stock exchange filing.

Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. Bulgarian Rose is part of blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
