Bulgarian Rose posted a preliminary profit of 75,000 levs in September alone, lowering its preliminary loss in the January-September period of 2020 to 29,000 levs, the company said in a bourse filing.
Sales in October are projected at 235,000 levs, which will increase the company's total sales in the first ten months of 2020 to 2.7 million levs.
In the first ten months of 2019, Bulgarian Rose reported sales of 5.4 million levs.
Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. Bulgarian Rose is part of blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
