The gross domestic product (GDP) of Bosnia’s Serb Republic edged down by a real 0.1% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2014, preliminary data from the entity's statistics office indicated on Monday.
In the third quarter, the Serb Republic's GDP rose to 2.28 billion marka ($1.4 billion/1.1 billion euro) at current prices from 2.26 billion marka a year earlier, the statistics office said in a statement.
In 2013, the Serb Republic's economy expanded by a real 1.9% after shrinking 1.1% a year earlier.
The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
