CMS Romania extends lease contract at One United Properties building

April 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian real estate developer One United Properties [BSE:ONE] said on Tuesday it has extended the lease contract at one of its office buildings in Bucharest with the local arm of law firm CMS.

CMS has decided to prolong its lease on a long-term basis and also expand its office space by an additional 350 sq m within One Tower, One United Properties said in a press release.

Founded in 1999, CMS has more than 70 offices in over 40 countries across the world and more than 5,000 lawyers. CMS Romania has been active for over 20 years and offers a full service office delivering advisory and transactional work, according to its website.

Established in 2009, One United Properties is a green investor and developer of residential, commercial and office real estate. In 2023, the Romanian real estate company booked a net profit of nearly 443.2 million lei ($94.6 million/89 million euro) on revenues of 1.516 billion euro, it said in an interim financial report filed last month with the Bucharest bourse.

Blue-chip One United's shares traded 0.11% lower at 0.928 lei as at 1109 CET on Tuesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
