November 29 (SeeNews) - Chinese company Yanfeng Automotive Interiors has officially opened a factory in Kragujevac, central Serbia, the city government has said.
The factory has a footprint of 18,500 square metres and a workforce of 200 employees, the Kragujevac city government said in a statement on Thursday.

Yanfeng plans to increase the number of employees at the factory to 800 by 2023, plant manager Milan Radovic said at the inauguration ceremony.
"The first production line has been installed, the second has been delivered, and the third and fourth will arrive by April," Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said in a separate press release.
The Chinese company started in September the construction of the factory, located in the Sumadija free trade zone near Kragujevac.
Yanfeng has about 110 manufacturing plants and technical centers in 20 countries and more than 33,000 employees globally, according to data from its website.
