February 13 (SeeNews) - All five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) lost ground on Tuesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX slipping 0.22% to 780.02 points, bourse data showed.
The benchmark index was hit by diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which fell by 1.92% to 0.714 levs, and the Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE], which went down 1.73% to 14.20 levs.
The two companies also drove down the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, by 0.18% to 160.99 points. The biggest decliner in the index, however, was diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG], which sank 9.09% to 0.13 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.03% to 800.79 points due to the losses at Chimimport and the BSE, along with a 1.69% dip at IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] to 58.00 levs.
A 0.90% tumble in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.31 levs held back the BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts. The index ended the session 0.18% lower at 188.90 points.
Finally, the BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, erased 0.33% to 96.46 points. It was mostly impacted by a 15.70% slump in beehive-monitoring software developer Bee Smart Technologies [BUL:BEE] to 10.20 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse jumped to 1.66 million levs ($914,353/848,741 euro) on Tuesday from 423,681 levs on Monday.
With 39,200 shares traded, Premier Fund REIT [BUL:PREM] was the day's top stock by turnover, which amounted to 517,440 levs. The company's shares closed flat at 13.20 levs.
