The larger contract, worth 3.75 million levs, envisages supply of automatic low current circuit breakers, CEZ Distribution Bulgaria said in a tender notice.

The other contract concerns the supply of tripolar circuit breakers, and is worth some 63,000 levs.

The deadline for submitting offers is November 11.

CEZ Distribution Bulgaria operates the distribution grid on an area of 40,000 sq km in northern and northwestern Bulgaria, including the Sofia region.

Earlier this year, financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] signed a deal to acquire the Bulgarian assets of Czech energy group CEZ, including a majority stake in CEZ Distribution Bulgaria, for 335 million euro. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
